Snowpocalypse 2016: Roof Plowing

Right, you think I am making a joke, but we really did plow our barn roof today.  One massive snow drift formed right between our two barn roofs and Dad was concerned the roof might collapse. Dad and I quickly attached a makeshift wooden board plow onto the lift and with the help of my uncle Nelson, cleaned off a bunch of the snow.

One thing you learn in farming is that jerry rigging things is a way of life.  Any wooden plank, iron pole or concrete block can be used for 20 different purposes.  I guess farming is the true birthplace of the repurpose movement.  Farmers have been repurposing things around their farms for years!
